This policy explains how the personal data of users visiting VoyAVer (“the site”) is processed, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). The site is an informational project: it requires no registration, has no contact forms or private areas, and does not sell products or services.
Data controller
The controller of the data collected through this site is Manuel Caramico, as the natural person operating VoyAVer, reachable at the email address voyaver.info@gmail.com. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as it is not mandatory given the nature and scale of the processing carried out.
What data the site collects
VoyAVer requires no registration and does not directly collect identifying personal data (name, email, address) from visitors. Search within the site happens entirely in the browser and is not sent to any server. The only data processed is: (a) technical browsing data handled by the hosting provider for the operation and security of the site (e.g. IP address, browser type); (b) aggregated, anonymous usage statistics, as described below.
Usage statistics (analytics)
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymous statistics on the number of visits and the most popular pages. This service uses no tracking cookies, stores no persistent identifiers, and does not profile individual visitors or track them across different sites. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding, in anonymous and aggregated form, how the site is used in order to improve its content; since these are cookieless statistics that cannot identify the user, no prior consent is required. The data is processed by Vercel Inc. under their privacy policy, available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Hosting and data recipients
The site is hosted on Vercel Inc. infrastructure, which acts as data processor (Art. 28 GDPR) for the technical browsing data and the anonymous statistics. Technical server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) may be processed by Vercel for security and service-operation purposes. Beyond Vercel, the data is not disclosed to third parties, nor sold, transferred or used for advertising purposes.
Data transfers outside the European Union
Vercel Inc. is based in the United States: processing of technical data may therefore involve a transfer to a third country. Such transfer takes place on a GDPR-compliant basis, as Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and adopts the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission as an additional safeguard. Data retention
VoyAVer does not itself retain any identifying personal data of visitors. The aggregated, anonymous statistics and the technical logs are retained by Vercel for the period set out in its policies and, in any case, only for as long as strictly necessary for the operation, security and aggregate analysis of the service.
Your rights
To the extent that data relating to you is processed, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection to processing, as well as data portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). You can exercise these rights, or ask for clarification on this policy, by writing to voyaver.info@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — in Italy, the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante), if you believe the processing infringes the GDPR.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to the law. If tools that collect personal data are introduced in the future (newsletter, comments, accounts, advertising), the policy will be updated and, where necessary, consent will be requested before such tools are activated.
